Travel and study abroad

The mobility for study stay, scientific-research work or internship of students of the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo can be realized at a foreign higher education institution with which the University of Kragujevac has signed the agreement on cooperation. They must be second- or third-year students and can spend between 3 and 12 months studying at one of our partner institutions. This study period will be entirely covered by ECTS credits.

Students who want to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme can find all necessary information on our website or can contact the Faculty Coordinator.

How to start the realization of mobility?

Information about currently available calls for Erasmus+ mobility grants can be found here. Only the students who fulfil all the requirements of the call are eligible to apply. The students of our faculty apply for participation in student exchange or a mobility for studies at a host institution abroad by submitting their documentation in accordance with the list of necessary documents for application within the current call.

Learning Agreement

During the preparation of the Learning Agreement, which contains the proposal of courses that would be attended by the student on mobility, it is necessary to consult the Erasmus+ coordinator at the home faculty. Besides, the student can also select the courses which are not compatible with his study programme provided by the home institution, but the record of such courses passed abroad will be included in their diploma supplement. As for the courses which the student wants to attend abroad, the minimum ECTS points of all of them must be at least 20 and not more than 30.

Selection of candidates

After the applications are submitted within the defined deadline, the Department of International Cooperation checks the documentation for technical correctness. The Commission for the implementation of student mobility at the University of Kragujevac selects candidates in accordance with the Rules and conditions for the selection of students, teaching and administrative staff from the University of Kragujevac for mobility within the Erasmus+ programme and makes the final ranking list of candidates.

After the completion of the selection process, the selected applications are sent to the host university abroad. Only after that foreign institution accepts the student can the Learning Agreement, which states the courses to be attended and taken by the student at the host institution during the mobility period, be signed and the mobility realized.

Basis for recognition of ECTS points before mobility

After the official acceptance by the host institution (by a written confirmation of the acceptance), and before signing the Learning Agreement which states the courses to be attended and taken by the student at the host institution during the mobility period, the students of our faculty are obliged to submit a Request by completing the form and follow the procedure in accordance with the Instructions on the realization and recognition of mobility results at the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo.

Documents:

  • Request for recognition of the results and the mobility period before mobility;
  • Instructions on the realization and recognition of mobility results at the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo.

Academic recognition of results and mobility period

The student of the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo has the right to have the results achieved during mobility recognized by his home institution after he returns from mobility. Upon the completion of the exchange, the student is obliged to submit all relevant documents to the Faculty Coordinator within 30 days from his/her return from mobility and carry out the necessary procedure.

Internship offer

The students of our Faculty have the right to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme for internship. The students who have completed the first study year are eligible to participate. The students who have completed the last study year have the right to participate in the programme in the period not longer than 12 months after their graduation. The priority is given to the students who have not participated in the Erasmus+ programme.

The students themselves find the companies/firms/institutions in which they would like to realize their internship. The University list of potential institutions for internship can be seen HERE. We suggest that you also check the Erasmus Intern page, which was developed as a project of the Erasmus Student Network and which publishes offers for internship.

During the preparation of the proposal for Internship Agreement, the student gives their proposal regarding the place of internship and the activities they would like to realize during that practice. While filling in the Draft Agreement, it is necessary for the students to consult the Erasmus+ Coordinator at their own faculty.
